Half Marathon Training Group


Ok! Its time to laceup! 

Our 8 week training program for our Shamrock'n Half Marathon training program begins January 19, 2020. Whether its your first race or your 100th, we will be there for you every step of the way to help  you get to the not only the starting line, but the finish line happy and healthy. Our experienced coaches will teach you how to run with proper form, offer advise on nutrition and hydration, as well as injury prevention and recovery. Participants should be able to walk 4-5 miles at the start of training to fully benefit from the training program.

The Fleet Feet VIP Experience

           Participants will enjoy exclusive in-store events, nutrition and hydration samples during group training runs, and so much more! The race day VIP lounge in the Legacy Club at Raley Field includes complimentary beer, food, massage, and an unmatched view of the finish line and the Sacramento skyline.

8-week comprehensive training plan
Two group training runs per week led by experienced Fleet Feet coaches
Weekly training newsletter with training tips, insider info, and more
Hydration products at every workout and aid stations during long runs
Education on proper form, pacing, fueling and stretching

Training shirts 

Target race: Shamorck'n Half Marathon, Sacramento March 15, 2020.

Long runs: Sundays at 8am.  Midweek runs: Thursdays at 5:30pm

Registration fee:

November 1- December 14- $95

December 15 - January 3, 2020- $105

January 4, 2020 - January 19, 2020- $115

Race registration is separate from Training Registration. For liability and safety reasons, dogs, children under 13, and strollers are prohibited Fleet Feet Training workouts.
